Movement Meditation & Restoration
"This is one of the concepts that differentiates Avita Yoga® from other styles. It isn’t about trying to fit the body into difficult positions for future gain. It is about reclaiming the movement, health and stability that naturally belong to you and your body in the here and now. It’s a shift in perception—starting anew, right where you are each time you arrive on the mat, no matter what condition your body is in, no matter what frame of mind you are in—it’s perfect because that’s exactly what needs tending. Avita Yoga® is about creating new possibilities in body and mind, moment by moment. The sequences help resolve limiting patterns that no longer serve us so we can remember a healthier way of being in body, mind and spirit. It’s about going forward and creating a new way of being, for a lifetime." Founder, Jeff Bailey.
Breathe, Integrate & Flow
Based on Beth Shaw's YogaFit, these sessions move between shapes integrating the movements with nasal breathwork and varying intensities.

These classes are usually classified as vinyasa yoga so you may experience heat and sweating.
With my physical rehabilitation training, I will add in additional corrective movements as needed:
-
Posture
-
Core strength
-
Pelvic floor
This more intense yoga practice requires:
You have good range of motion, have overcome many work-arounds, know your body and movement abilities and are aware of how to adjust your practice, with some cueing.

Empower Your Flower
I offer my personal pelvic floor function restoration as a Step-by-Step Course where I implement the work of Denise Conway using her revealing book called, Empower your Flower where she teaches you how to take full responsibility for your pelvic floor health.

Join me as I address her recommendations and include some of my own adaptations. These classes begin with Chapter 8.

I highly recommend getting her book and study the first 7 chapters ahead of starting this Step-by-Step Course. I also suggest working with a pelvic floor specialist if you have some severe pelvic floor issues or have little to no experience with anatomy/physiology and found the first 7 chapters too overwhelming.
